Tab Trade - What It Is
TabTrade.com opened in Q1 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail tells you something. It suggests the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. But preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities prime brokers run on. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys did the opposite. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is solid.
The Software
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many pick one platform. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently in the works. That should make the platform set once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. $0 to start. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The execution is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says something about priorities.
Put together that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package makes sense. Few brokers with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Now, the part that requires honesty. The broker is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. None of this guarantee anything. It does be part of your assessment.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal makes sense is your call.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade runs a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before funding.
